Massachusetts General Hospital

Forty-one years ago this week, the infamous Blizzard of 1978 brought 27 inches of snow to New England, pummeling the region with 70-mph winds and causing power outages throughout Boston and beyond. Even facing such harsh conditions, nothing could stop Mass General employees from getting to work. They walked, snowshoed and skied through waist-deep snow and then worked multiple shifts to make sure that the hospital could still deliver the highest quality of care to our patients.
