Are you convinced you have a penicillin allergy? Maybe it’s time to think again. Researchers in the Mass General Research Institute have found that most people either outgrow their penicillin allergies or their reactions tend to subside with age. As The New York Times notes, they suggest retesting, since using a broader spectrum of antibiotics has been shown to contribute to the rise of resistant superbugs.
